Settings → Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector

1. 1Open Claude and go to Settings → Customize → Connectors (or use the button below).
2. 2Click "Add custom connector".
3. 3Name it "The Marketing Vault" and paste the server URL from Step 1.
4. 4Leave the defaults: Authentication → "Always required", OAuth client → "No client ID - register one automatically", Transport → "Streamable HTTP".
5. 5Click Add. Claude opens a sign-in window - log in to your Marketing Vault account and click Approve.
6. 6Test it: ask Claude "Use The Marketing Vault to list my businesses".

Free accounts can add one custom connector; paid plans allow more. On mobile you can use connectors you already added on web or desktop.

Business, Enterprise & Edu plans (beta) with Developer mode on

Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode

1. 1Open ChatGPT on the web and go to Settings → Apps & Connectors.
2. 2Under Advanced, turn on Developer mode (this is what exposes custom MCP connectors).
3. 3Back on Apps & Connectors, click "Create" / "Add connector".
4. 4Name it "The Marketing Vault", paste the server URL, and set Authentication to OAuth.
5. 5Click Create, sign in to your Marketing Vault account, and approve access.
6. 6In a new chat, open the "+" menu, confirm The Marketing Vault is enabled, then ask it to list your businesses.

Custom connectors need a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan while the feature is in beta. If a connector disappears from your list (a known ChatGPT bug), re-add it with the same URL.

Pro, Max & Enterprise plans

Computer → Connectors → Custom Remote Connector

1. 1Open Perplexity and switch to Computer mode.
2. 2Go to Connectors and choose Add connector → Custom Remote Connector.
3. 3Name it "The Marketing Vault" and paste the server URL.
4. 4Select the HTTP / Streamable HTTP transport if asked, then save.
5. 5Complete the sign-in and click Approve on the consent screen.
6. 6Ask: "Using The Marketing Vault, load my customer profile".

Custom remote connectors require a Pro, Max or Enterprise plan.

Available to all Grok users

grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom

1. 1Go to grok.com/connectors and click New Connector → Custom.
2. 2Name it "The Marketing Vault" and paste the server URL.
3. 3Save, then complete the sign-in and approve access.
4. 4Enable the connector in the chat composer before asking Grok to use it.

On Grok Business or Enterprise, a team admin has to enable the connector in the xAI cloud console before members can use it.

Gemini CLI setup below. Google Connected Apps availability depends on Google's rollout and approval.

Gemini Developer Mode or ~/.gemini/settings.json

1. 1For consumer Gemini testing, follow Google's Developer Mode guide below and add the custom MCP URL where available. Sign in and approve when prompted.
2. 2Install Gemini CLI, then open (or create) ~/.gemini/settings.json.
3. 3Add the mcpServers block below and save the file.
4. 4Restart the CLI. The first tool call opens a browser window for sign-in and approval.
5. 5Verify with the "/mcp" command inside the CLI - it should list The Marketing Vault tools.

Developer Mode is for testing and depends on Google's availability and account requirements. Public Google Connected Apps availability requires registration and review. The Marketing Vault's approval, public listing and discoverability are not confirmed.
